In order to assist with efforts from the State of Montana and Park County, Park County Environmental Council supports work a variety of entities perform to prevent the spread of noxious weeds and better inform the public about weed control practices.

The Montana State University Extension Office also provides a wealth of information on weed control. The Department’s noxious weed programs assist with the management of land and water based weeds on the Montana Noxious Weeds List. The Noxious Weed Trust Fund grant program and Noxious Weed Seed Free Forage certification program assist counties, individuals, local communities, researchers, and educators in their efforts to solve noxious weed problems in Montana.
