Revise Comprehensive Environmental Cleanup and Responsibility Act
HB 434
PCEC’s Executive Director, Kerry Fee went up to Helena and testified along side the Director of DEQ, Richard Opper and his staff in opposition to HB434.
Kerry was able to put a “face” on a clean up for the House Committee by using what has been happening here in Livingston over the last 17 years with our rail yard clean up in his testimony.
Even though the bill made it through committee 8-7 in favor, it looks like the testimony worked. This bill is most likely dead.
