PROTECT PARADISE, SAY NO TO THE YELLOWSTONE GATEWAY MINE
What is More Valuable? Gold or Paradise Valley?
A Canadian mining company, Lucky Minerals Inc., has submitted a proposed mineral exploration project in Emigrant Gulch in the Custer Gallatin National Forest just above the Chico Hot Springs and Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley near Yellowstone National Park.
The Custer Gallatin National Forest and the Montana Department of Environmental Quality accepted public comments regarding this ill-conceived proposal. Thousands of concerned citizens urged the Custer-Gallatin Forest Service and Montana Department of Environmental Quality to prepare an environmental impact statement to examine the significant environmental consequences of Lucky Minerals, Inc.’s highly controversial proposed mineral exploration project in Emigrant Gulch in the Custer Gallatin National Forest.
Thank you to the thousands of concerned citizens that submitted comment letters!
